Appearance: Lucas has that almost, 'pale,' look going for him. He's got dark eyes, that seem to be almost pitch black. But really, they are this blue/gray kind of color. When he's mad, they go into a midnight shade, with flicks of purple in them. He is tall standing at a good six foot three inches, he has always been tall for his age. His hair is that soft and silky kind that people, including him self, love to run their hands through.
He's got soft lips, and they are slightly plum and pink. His face is narrow and his cheekbones are high. His face looks like that of a girls, it just may be that pretty. He used to have a piercing when he was younger. He had gone through that experimental phase, but then had given up on it and let the hole that was in his ear go without the piercing. He is a skinny guy, but just because he is skinny, doesn't mean he is made of skin and bones. There's some muscle in the right places there. They show when he wears just the right thing. He has a slightly long neck, so he enjoys wearing collard shirts. He is board chests, and long legged, he also has large hands and feet. A lot of people tell him that he should be in basketball because of his long limbs. And then they see his art and eat their words.
Personality: Lucas is Sweet, smart and most of all dramatically sensitive. And all of that goes towards his artistic twist. Lucas seems to have a soft spot for anything and everything artist. So all you have to do, if you really want in on his good side, is talk about something having to do with that.
He also has a soft spot for any and all people in trouble. He likes to be the helping hand, so he's always playing knight and shinning armor. But don’t be fooled by his always calm and cool facade. Beneath said facade, lies the broken heart of a tortured soul. Those are always the great souls of artists after all. He's funny, and likes to mess around a lot with his friends. But other wise, he's a “good guy.”
Lucas doesn’t like to talk about the things that hunts his dreams almost every night, like the thought of his mother leaving him when he was 4, which also happens to be the same thing that drove him to near insanity. But once in a while, a random reminder will pop up, and you do not want to be around him when it does. He has temper issues once in a while when something sparks his anger. Normally, that will go towards his art, or his camera, and once in a while, a window or a chair.
History: Lucas Nicola Laraway was born to the Adelicia Belcher-Laraway and Thomas Laraway on a very warm September the 14th, in the little town of Nice, France. Adelicia was a transfer student at a local University at in Nice, France.
There she and Thomas Laraway met, but it wasn’t love at first site. Oh no, it was anything but. Thomas always felt she was to up tight. Where as she always thought of him as a stuck up rich boy. Little is known about what brought those two together a year and a half later. They married soon after they graduated, and welcomed him into the world a mere two years later. But Thomas had a secret that would eventually cost Adelicia everything.
Everything seemed to be normal for the little family, but to anyone who was close to them everything was falling apart. Adelicia was suffering from depression, and Thomas was cheating. Finally, Adelicia couldn’t take it anymore. Lucas lost his mother on February 15th, he was six years old. His Grandparents were devastated, and Lucas was to young to understand what was going on. Thomas tried to take care of Lucas as best he could, but he was still neglected greatly. Thomas Laraway remarried when Lucas was seven years old, and his Grand parents quickly took custody of him.
The last time Lucas saw his father, Thomas made him a promise that he would make it up to him, for being such a bad Father. Lucas was 8, and still to young to understand.
At the age of 9, Lucas began to develop his passion for theater, which soon turned into a passion for anything that was in the area of the arts. It all started with his very first show, which happened to be none other then a great work of Shakespeare. From then on, his Grandmother, realizing what great understanding and passion he had for the arts took him to every show she could. And his grandfather bought him everything he could ever dream of having to make as many visions of art that were in his head come true. His rich grand parents did not deprive him of anything, and so he was raised knowing the best. But he never behaved like some of those stuck up snotty wealthy people.
On the contrary, Lucas hates people like that.
They tend to think they are so much better then everyone else, and Lucas was raised by his grandmother, to be proper yes, but never rude or snotty. Lucas was always a smart child, took top marks in all his classes. At the age of 10, his father and his grandparents engaged in a custody battle. Needless to say, that his grandparents won, but his father did get granted visitation rights. Lucas spent every summer with his father and his Wife Abigail, as well as his Half sister Rosalie in the states, in California to be more detailed. Lucas quickly developed a very brother love for the sister he didn’t even know he had till then. And visa Versa.
At the age of 14, he stared in a production of Hamlet at his middle school. The crowd, as well as he, was blown away by his performance, and then the following summer, he won the California junior artist prize. At the age of 18, he decided it was time for a change of pace. He bid his grandparents, whom he both loved and adored, and whom both promised to help him in any way they could goodbye and moved to the states. He ended up, in California of all places.
