To say that Katrina was a happy camper would be a lie. She enjoyed being at home with Ma, Pa, Travis, and Delilah but she was starting to really feel the effects of the pregnancy taking a toll on her body. Now that the holidays were over, things had calmed down a bit and so she mostly spent her days with Ma in the kitchen, helping cook and do other things. Harry was God knows where, she didn’t have enough energy to keep tabs on him and she figured that he’d reappear eventually, whenever the food was ready. Almost Four months into this, Pix wasn’t even half way. The doctor had promised her moodiness would subside and her hormones would level but they hadn’t yet and it was beginning to get annoying. She just wanted to feel a little normal without everyone thinking she was going to lose it. Maybe another visit to the docs was due soon.
Pix lay across the couch, head in Ma’s lap as they watched some sappy romantic comedy that was beginning to make her cry. Girls night probably wasn’t the best decision when she was so unstable. Pix sniffed as she leaned forward to grab another tissue and return to her comfy place, wondering where the boys had disappeared to.
